However, each year Erie Pennsylvania puts on the glitz and glamour, and honors regional talent with an awards show event at the Erie Convention Center, named the
Rock Erie Music Awards.

It's like a Grammy Award, with catagories for favorite vocalists, favorite guitarist, song of the year, album of the year. There's even a catagory for favorite cover band.

It's a great time for the local musical community to come together and enjoy a night out have a few laughs, and a few beverages provided by the area's sponsors, and get a nice pat on the back for a job well done!
